Chairman, MariMinerals
A highly decorated retired senior officer of the Pakistan Army, he has held prominent command, staff, and instructional roles, culminating as Adjutant General and Principal Staff Officer to the Chief of Army Staff. He has led major national-level welfare and commercial initiatives, including the development of Fauji Foundation Companies and Army Welfare Trust, and played a key role in the planning of Defence Housing Authorities and large-scale housing projects across Pakistan.
In civilian leadership, he has served as Chairman of the Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority, caretaker Federal Minister for Defence and Defence Production, and a member of the Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). He has also contributed to national academia as President of the National Defence University and as a member of the Boards of Governors of NUST, NUMS, and NUTECH.
He holds a Master’s in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College and an MSc in War Studies from the National Defence University. His services have been recognized through national honors, including the Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military).Lt Gen Anwar Ali Hyder also serves on the boards of several leading public and private sector companies, including MariEnergies.

His expertise spans fiscal policy and macroeconomic research, greenfield and brownfield project development, strategic collaborations, mergers and acquisitions, advanced accounting and finance, tax reforms, and strategic-level advisory and assurance.
He has worked extensively with major business groups and public-sector institutions, contributing to corporate governance, financial oversight, and long-term strategic planning.
Mr. Kazmi also serves on the boards of several prominent public and private companies, including MariEnergies, Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, Askari Bank Limited, Fauji Cement Company Limited, and multiple entities within the Fauji Foundation group.
Managing Director/CEO
With over 30 years of international experience, he has held key technical and leadership positions with global oil and gas companies including Union Texas Petroleum, OMV, BG Group, Helix RDS, and Neptune Energy in the UK, Oman, Egypt, and France.
He brings deep expertise in exploration and production, joint venture management, business development, operational excellence, and strategic transformation. His experience spans multiple regions across the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Before joining MariEnergies, he served as Head of Strategy and Business Development for Neptune Energy in London, contributing to the company’s growth in North Africa and Asia Pacific. His recent leadership roles and engagement with the Fauji Foundation Group have enabled him to broaden his expertise beyond E&P into mining, power, cement, fertilizer, and terminal operations.
Mr. Haider also serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Pakistan International Oil Limited (UAE), Mari Technologies Limited, and Sky47 Limited, and is a member of the executive board of Pink Ribbon Pakistan.
He holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering & Production Management (with distinction) from Imperial College London, a postgraduate diploma from the College of Petroleum Studies, Oxford, and a BSc (Honors) in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore.

He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of MariEnergies and brings strong financial leadership to MariMinerals as a non-executive Director.
He spent a significant part of his career with Eni, where he held senior finance roles, including Director Finance & Control for a Special Purpose Entity established to develop a 3.4 MTPA Floating LNG project. His experience spans complex financial planning, governance, and large-scale project development in the energy sector.
Mr. Rasheed holds an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from Robert Gordon University, UK, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Oil and Gas Law. He also serves on the boards of MariEnergies and Mari Technologies Limited.

He serves as a Director on the board of MariMinerals, contributing his expertise to the company’s exploration strategy and mineral portfolio development.
Since joining MariEnergies in 2012, Mr. Khan has played a pivotal role in advancing exploration projects and optimizing resource discovery, leveraging his technical and managerial experience to support growth and strategic initiatives.
He also serves on the board of MariEnergies and Mari Technologies Limited.

He serves as a Director on the board of MariMinerals, contributing his expertise in business development, commercial strategy, and stakeholder engagement to the company’s growth and strategic initiatives.
Since 2021, he has been Director of Business Development and Commercial at MariEnergies, where he has played a key role in driving growth, optimizing commercial operations, and supporting new strategic ventures. His extensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks and strong stakeholder management skills have been instrumental in fostering positive relationships across the industry.
Mr. Mehmood holds an MSc in Economics and Finance and an MBA from IMD Switzerland, combining advanced academic knowledge with hands-on industry experience. His insights into business strategy, market development, and operational excellence continue to strengthen MariMinerals’ position in the minerals sector.
He also serves on the board of MariEnergies and Mari Technologies Limited.
