MariMinerals’ CSR interventions are strategically aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The framework, while broadly covers all SDGs, is specifically aligned with SDGs 6, 12, 13, 14, and 15 contributing to environment friendly and climate resilience efforts, SDGs 1, 2, 8, and 10 for community development and livelihoods support; while SDGs 4, and 5 focus on education, and gender equality. Additionally, policy’s focus on governance and transparency upholds SDG 16. This alignment with SDGs ensures that MariMinerals’ CSR commitments address local needs while contributing to the broader global development agenda.

All interventions will be guided by a Community Needs Assessment followed by a structured Community Development Plan (CDP) and implemented in collaboration with community organizations/committees, qualified implementing partners, including national and international nonprofit organizations.rnrnMariMinerals will collaborate with academia, think-tanks, and private sector to embed innovation and impact in relevant community-centered initiatives. The approach prioritizes long-term community ownership, institutional strengthening, and continuity of services beyond the project lifecycle.rnrnMariMinerals will progressively transit from brick-and-mortar approach to community-led development and systems strengthening model for community empowerment and sustainability. Implementing Partners will play a central role in facilitating this transition by building local capacity, embedding initiatives within public and market systems, and ensuring sustainability of services and benefits after project closure.
